When and what to do?
Pre‑training completed
Complete the pre‑training by HRD Korea.
Alien registration
14 days after arrivalGet your alien registration card within 14 days after arrival.
Automatic NHIS enrollment
You’re automatically enrolled in NHIS from day one.
Monthly premium deduction
Premium is deducted from salary automatically. Company pays half.
When changing workplace
Within 3 monthsYou must find a new job within 3 months.
Pension refund before returning home
Korea‑Uzbek social security agreement allows pension refund. Apply to NPS.
How much do you pay?
Company pays half. Your share is about 89,900 KRW/month (based on 2.5M KRW salary).
Benefits that apply to you
Industrial accident insurance applied separately.
Work injury is fully covered by industrial accident insurance.
Pension refund possible.
Thanks to the Korea‑Uzbek social security agreement, you can get a NPS refund when you return home.
Departure‑end insurance.
Instead of severance pay, you join departure‑end insurance.
Tax treaty applied.
Korea‑Uzbek tax treaty prevents double taxation.
Please note
3‑month rule for workplace change.
If you don't find a new job within 3 months, your stay permit may be cancelled.
Report employer who didn't enroll you in insurance.
If the company doesn't enroll you, report to the Foreign Worker Help Center (1644-0644).
Medical expense insurance Tier B limited.
E‑9 visa holders can only join certain medical expense insurers.
