When and what to do?

Entry and alien registration

14 days after entry

Get your alien registration card within 14 days after entry.

Automatic health insurance enrollment

From day one at work, you're automatically enrolled as an employer‑insured.

Premium is automatically deducted from salary. Company pays half.

Check Russian insurance status

If you keep Russian health insurance (ОМС), check for duplicate coverage.

Check before returning home

No bilateral agreement, so pension refund is tough. Check NPS before leaving.
