Pension refund before returning home
You can get a pension refund under the Korea‑Mongolia social security agreement. Apply at NPS.
How much do you pay?
Company pays half. Your share is about 89,900 won/month (based on 2.5 million won salary).
Benefits that apply to you
Industrial accident insurance applied separately
If you get injured at work, industrial accident insurance covers 100%.
Pension refund possible
You can claim back your national pension when you return, thanks to the Korea‑Mongolia agreement.
Departure‑term insurance
Instead of severance pay, you’re enrolled in departure‑term insurance.
Tax treaty applied
The Korea‑Mongolia tax treaty prevents double taxation.

If you don’t re‑employ within 3 months, your stay permit may be cancelled.
Report employer who didn’t enroll you in insurance
If the company doesn’t enroll you, report to 1644-0644.
Tier B limit for medical indemnity insurance
