Seongsu flea market lets foreigners open booths too
In Apr and May 2026, two flea markets will be held in Seongsu. Foreigners can join as sellers.
Seongdong Cherry Blossom Festival market is Apr 4-5, Seongsu Simsimba Terrace market is May 2. Both accept foreign seller applications.
About 210,000 foreigners visited Seongsu in 2024, 5 times more than five years ago. Lots of visitors = good chance for foreign sellers.

Call the Self‑Administration Dept. Number: 02-2286-6742. Ask for foreign support if English interpretation is hard.
Check allowed items
Only household, lifestyle, pet, and packaged food items are allowed. Processed foods may need extra permission.
Prepare your ARC
You may need a copy of your ARC when applying. Have it ready.
Submit application
Check Seongdong Office website (sd.go.kr) or call for instructions. When 25 teams fill up, applications close.

Working Holiday visa holders can apply for a free booth
H-1 visa holders can apply for free booths at whic.mofa.go.kr
Working Holiday Info Center is under the MOFA. It posts occasional free booth notices for foreigners, with info in English and other languages.
Application is easy. Just proof of visa needed. No business license or extra docs.
